PCB assembly is the moment when the project materialises โ when the PCB stops being a file and becomes a functional electronic assembly. Every step in that process directly affects the reliability of the finished device, and every step is carried out with the attention it demands.
Our assembly line covers the full spectrum of modern electronics assembly: automatic solder paste application with a stencil printer, SMD component placement on a Pick&Place machine, reflow soldering in a controlled oven, and manual PTH assembly on high-quality Weller soldering stations with precise temperature control. Mixed boards โ combining SMD and PTH components โ are everyday routine, not an exception.
The process of every assembly order begins with preparation. We verify that all components have arrived and are correctly recorded against the BOM, that the stencil is appropriate for the given PCB design, and that the reflow profile parameters are aligned with the paste manufacturer's recommendations and component requirements. Only after this verification do the boards enter the line.
After reflow, every board undergoes visual inspection. We are equipped with desktop stereo microscopes designed for electronics inspection, and for more demanding cases โ fine pitch components, suspect joints, damage analysis โ we use electron microscopes that allow detailed examination of every joint. Inspection is not a formality at the end of the line; it is a filter that ensures no faulty board reaches the client.
PTH components โ connectors, transformers, electrolytic capacitors, relays and everything that passes through the board โ are soldered manually on Weller stations with precisely defined temperature. Manual soldering in the hands of an experienced technician is not a compromise compared to automation โ for smaller series and mixed boards it is the optimal process that produces reliable, visually clean joints without thermal stress on surrounding SMD components.
We offer assembly as part of our complete development and production service, and also as a standalone service for those who come with their own PCBs and components. We also accept partial assembly โ where the client wants us to handle the SMD portion while they assemble the PTH components themselves, or the reverse.
